Beautiful skin does not have to come at the expense of your health

Our largest organ is our skin, and whatever we apply to it daily can impact our health in so many ways. From additives that disrupt our endocrine system to  cancer-linked toxins. That’s why we've set out to create a clean skincare range that uses natural and organic ingredients without the addition of any unnecessary or harmful toxic ingredients.

Our promise to you

Poetica products are lovingly created in small batches using natural and naturally derived ingredients and are completely free of any questionable or toxic ingredients. We think of it as nutrition for your skin.

At Poetica we are always mindful and conscious of your physical health and also your emotional state. Skilful aromatherapy encapsulated in each bottle of precious elixirs, infuses a sense of well-being as well as being targeted for your individual skin concerns. So that you can look and feel your very best.

It's all there on the label

When it comes to skincare we often find it very difficult to understand what's listed on the labels. A useful approach can be to think of skincare as nutrition for your skin. So, choosing skincare in the same way that you would shop for healthy whole-foods rather than heavily processed, chemical laden foods makes sense.

But don't just blindly trust the word "natural" when you see it on a label because you'll find that sometimes natural and organic skincare can include some very questionable ingredients.

If in doubt as to what the chemicals on the labels are for and how they can impact your health then check out this site https://www.ewg.org

Poetica products will always be free from parabens, detergents, artificial preservatives, GMOs, phthalates, silicones, sulfates, artificial colours and fragrances.

Empower yourself

It is really up to you whether you make a decision to use products that include these chemicals or not. While they may be helpful in keeping the products safe from bacteria and help other ingredients perform better, some of these chemicals can also irritate and harm your skin and health.

If your skin is irritated or out of balance, then it may be time to  take a careful look at the ingredients list on your labels. Empowered with more knowledge, you can then choose products that contain the right ingredients for your skin.
